How would you get from Paris to St. Tropez?
chem1077 asked:
Is there a airport near St. Tropez? or train station?

Yes, both are available.
It’s been a long time but if I remember correctly, I think I took the TGV from Paris to Marseilles and then the regional train, and then the ferry. I’ve also driven in and out of St. Tropez.
St. Tropez is a little bit out of the way, so if you can fly in, it’s easier.
There is no train station in St. Tropez. The train gets you to a nearby town though. I’m sorry I’m forgetting the name.
It sounds hard to get there but it’s really not. The best thing to do is to work out a complete itinerary with the help of a SNCF ticket clerk at any Paris train station, or with your travel agent if you’re going to fly.
My Paris Web site:
the best way to go is through nice airport then by a train r a car!! to St. Tropez
Yes, the nearest aiport is Nice, 2 and a half our drive by car to St-Tropez (when traffic is good)
Nearest train station is st-Raphael about 30 to 45 mins drive depending on traffic and you have a bus also directly from the trainstation. beware though they charge you extra per luguage piece you take with you. Hereby the site of the french railways, you can take a normal train or a fast train. Bon Voyage.Or you can take the bus to st-maxim or taxi and take the boat to st-Tropez, its also nice.
